About The Team
The SRE team is dedicated to deeply integrating large language models (LLMs), AI Agents, and engineering platform capabilities to build an intelligent application system for R&D, operations, stability, and business scenarios. By creating an AI application architecture that is observable, evaluable, governable, and continuously evolving, the team is driving the company's shift from "tool-assisted" to "intelligent collaboration," improving R&D efficiency, system stability, fault diagnosis efficiency, and the quality of business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and build AI Harness capabilities for SRE / DevOps scenarios, including fault detection, change analysis, capacity risk identification, automated inspection, drill evaluation, and recovery recommendations.
Drive the development of an automated RCA (Root Cause Analysis) system, combining logs, metrics, distributed tracing, events, changes, topology, and other data to achieve root cause analysis, impact scope assessment, and post-incident review support.
Build AIOps platform capabilities, including intelligent alert noise reduction, anomaly detection, event correlation, trend prediction, fault attribution, and automated closed-loop remediation.
Collaborate with R&D, SRE, platform, data, and business teams to embed AI capabilities into Code Review, CI/CD, GitOps, DevOps, incident response, and stability governance processes.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in R&D, architecture, or platform engineering; experience building AI applications, SRE, AIOps, or DevOps platforms is preferred.
Strong software architecture skills, familiar with microservices architecture, distributed systems, high-availability design, service governance, observability, and platform engineering.
Familiar with LLM application development; understanding of core technologies such as LLM, RAG, Embedding, vector databases, Agents, Function Calling / Tool Calling, and Prompt Engineering. Understanding of the production challenges of AI applications, including hallucination control, result evaluation, permission boundaries, data security, cost control, observability, and failure fallback mechanisms.
Experience delivering AI Agent or intelligent assistant products, able to design complex task decomposition, multi-tool invocation, multi-turn reasoning, context management, and human-machine collaboration workflows.
Familiar with RCA or AIOps capability development, including log analysis, metric anomaly detection, distributed tracing, event correlation, alert noise reduction, topology analysis, and root cause localization.
Proficient in at least one mainstream development language, such as Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript, with strong engineering implementation and system design skills.
Familiar with cloud-native technology stacks and common middleware, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.
Strong complex problem analysis skills and holistic architectural thinking, able to drive problem-solving from business, platform, process, and organizational collaboration perspectives.
Ability to communicate in both Chinese and English is preferred as the role requires collaborating with cross-region stakeholders

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Data Platform Engineering team is going to implement various data processing tasks on the newly built next-generation data platform. We aim to further optimize data storage, processing, application, interfaces, and other dimensions. About The Team

Airwallex’s Infrastructure & Productivity team is on a mission to turn everyday software engineers into superheroes. What You’ll Do
As a (Senior) Software Engineer on the Infrastructure AI team, you will design, build, and operate goal-oriented AI agents that automate SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows across Airwallex’s global infrastructure. You won’t be doing operations work yourself — you’ll be building the AI systems that do it. Your agents will autonomously investigate incidents, provision infrastructure, manage databases, execute deployments, and handle the operational tasks that traditionally require human intervention.
You will work on top of Quartermaster, Airwallex’s internal agent platform, building domain-specific agents that interact with real infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, databases, monitoring systems). This role requires you to think deeply about agent architecture — planning and reasoning loops, tool selection and execution, safety guardrails, human-in-the-loop escalation, and how to make autonomous systems reliable in production infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
- Build goal-oriented infrastructure AI agents: Design and implement autonomous agents on the Quartermaster platform that handle SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows — including incident investigation and remediation, infrastructure provisioning, deployment orchestration, database operations, and capacity management.
- Design agent architectures for safety and reliability: Build robust agent loops with planning, reasoning, tool-use, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop escalation. Infrastructure agents touch production systems — they must be safe, auditable, and predictable.

About the Role

Kai is Airwallex’s AI assistant, designed to help customers to accomplish complex financial work with great speed and control. We are building trusted agentic experiences that can understand intent, retrieve the right business context, reason over product and data, and take appropriate actions.
As Engineering Lead, you will own the technical design, execution, and people leadership for Kai engineering team. You will turn rapidly evolving LLM and agent capabilities into reliable, observable, and safe production systems that solve meaningful customer and business problems.

About the opportunity
The AI Engineering team is responsible for integrating AI models with different business lines, across teams such as Compliance, Trading, Financial Products, and Business Intelligence.
We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of large-scale AI infrastructure that powers mission-critical machine learning and generative AI workloads. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of systems engineering, distributed computing, and applied AI, setting technical direction and building platforms that enable teams across the company to develop, train, deploy, and operate AI models reliably at scale.
You will be a hands-on technical leader, shaping long-term platform strategy while also diving deep into architecture, performance, and reliability challenges across compute, data, and ML systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Architect and build large-scale AI infrastructure supporting training, fine-tuning, and deployment of AI models
Define platform standards and reference architectures for distributed training, inference, and model lifecycle management
Lead the design of scalable systems across compute, storage, networking, and orchestration layers (e.g. GPU/accelerator clusters, schedulers, data pipelines)
Drive performance, reliability, and cost optimization for AI workloads at scale
Partner with the AI Science team, and relevant business units to translate requirements into robust platform capabilities
Set technical direction and best practices for AI platform development, including scalability, reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies in AI infrastructure (frameworks, accelerators, serving stacks, tooling)
Mentor senior engineers and act as a subject-matter-expert, influencing architecture beyond your immediate scope
What We Look For In You
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent, with at least 7+ years of relevant experience in the industry
Experience in AI Agent / RAG engineering solutions
Experience in Microservices / API development with Java/SpringBoot/SpringCloud/Python/Langchain

About the team
You’d be joining the team building Airwallex’s AI tooling platform. A product that helps employees turn ideas into working apps, dashboards, and workflow tools faster, with strong focus on platform engineering, integrations, security, and scale.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Your role will be delivering AI Tooling being leveraged by all Airwallex employees. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with internal teams to help identify projects that can drive impact – like building internal automation tooling, owning our terabyte-scale log pipelines, and using AI to streamline how our team operates.

- Lead the development of AI tools and applications, from inception to implementation.
- Support incident response efforts by building ad-hoc tools for threat hunting, remediation and scanners.
- Build, monitor, and maintain underlying infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, serverless workloads, and ETL pipelines.
- Sit with engineers to identify opportunities for automation and tooling development
- Partner with product engineering teams to drive security outcomes – such as automation for patching, and development of gateways and other services to decrease risk.
- Mentor and help grow other Software Engineers in the team.
WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience with production code bases
- Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) and one systems programming language (eg. Golang, C/C++)
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure, including data pipelines, serverless workloads, and Kubernetes
- Proven experience working autonomously on projects – delivering them to a high quality and on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Platform Engineering team is architecting Airwallex’s next-generation foundational infrastructure. We are moving beyond standard pipelines to build a high-performance, distributed ecosystem that powers real-time AI enablement and global financial data.
We aim to push the boundaries of distributed storage, stream processing, and service-layer interfaces. Role Overview
You will be responsible for production-grade AI data processing and knowledge services for Binance’s equities business. You will transform financial information—announcements, news, earnings reports, earnings call transcripts and audio/video, research reports, and more—into data, knowledge, and evidence that trading products and Binance AI can directly consume. Knowledge engineering, knowledge bases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) are the core scenarios. Within Information Security, our AI Tooling team builds secure internal platforms, applications, and automation that improve how Airwallex protects its systems, data, and employees. What you’ll do
You'll design, build, and operate the AI tooling platform used by employees across Airwallex. The Role

As a Product Lead, you’ll play a defining role in shaping the future of our payments infrastructure by pioneering an Agentic Payments Platform. You will be tasked to reimagine existing industry workflows with AI-native capabilities—designing strategy, defining solutions, and driving delivery from concept to launch. You’ll lead our Payments Product team, focused on building and optimizing the core clearing and settlement platform that powers how money moves across card networks, banks, ledgers, and most importantly: our merchants' wallets. In this role, you’ll lead key initiatives end-to-end, including:
- Owning the end-to-end merchant experience: From instant, low-friction onboarding through to the ongoing lifecycle, reducing complexity at every step.
- Optimizing global payment flows: Enhancing platform capabilities (e.g., intelligent batching, fee netting, routing) to improve settlement speed, accuracy, and cash velocity.

About the Role
You’ll be a core builder in our Risk and Payment team, designing and deploying intelligent systems that automate complex, multi-step workflows. You’ll leverage agentic frameworks, advanced orchestration, and pragmatic model selection to take ideas from whiteboard to production. About The Role

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Machine Learning Engineer specializing in large model post-training and alignment . This role focuses on designing, executing, and optimizing post-training pipelines to improve model performance, controllability, domain adaptation, and reasoning capabilities.
You will work across the full lifecycle of post-training—from data strategy and reward modeling to reinforcement learning–based optimization and production-grade inference deployment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and execute the full post-training pipeline for large language models (LLMs), including supervised fine-tuning, preference optimization, and reinforcement learning–based methods.
Design and implement advanced training paradigms such as DPO (Direct Preference Optimization) and GRPO (Generalized Reward Policy Optimization) .
Develop domain-specific data recipes, curation strategies, and augmentation pipelines to optimize task performance.
Conduct post-training of specialized small models from scratch, including architecture selection, dataset construction, and optimization strategy.
Build and refine Reward Models to support alignment and downstream optimization.
Design and implement RLAIF (Reinforcement Learning from AI Feedback) closed-loop systems.
Optimize inference efficiency and deploy models using low-latency serving frameworks such as vLLM and SGLang .
Evaluate model performance using both automated benchmarks and human/AI feedback loops.
Collaborate with research and infrastructure teams to productionize training and deployment workflows.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields with at least 8 years of industry experience .
Strong hands-on experience across the full post-training pipeline for large models.
Deep familiarity with preference learning and alignment techniques, including DPO, GRPO, and RL-based post-training methodologies .
Proven experience designing domain-specific data strategies and training methodologies.
Experience training and post-training specialized small models from scratch .
Solid understanding of reinforcement learning fundamentals and their application to model alignment.
Experience deploying models in low-latency production environments using frameworks such as vLLM, SGLang, or similar .

About The Opportunity
Building machine learning systems for risk at a global crypto exchange is fundamentally different from conventional ML engineering. The data spans on-chain activity, fiat deposits and withdrawals, trading behaviour, account access patterns, device intelligence, identity information, and customer interactions—signals that very few organizations can analyze together.
The problems are complex, adversarial, and constantly evolving. Models must identify emerging fraud patterns, scams, account takeovers, payment abuse, and other forms of financial risk while minimizing disruption to legitimate customers. Success is not measured only through offline model metrics. It is measured through prevented losses, improved approval rates, reduced false positives, faster investigations, and more reliable customer experiences.
This role sits within a multidisciplinary risk team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, risk strategy specialists, analytics engineers, product managers, and operations teams. You will work across the full ML lifecycle—from problem formulation, feature engineering, and model development to real-time deployment, monitoring, experimentation, and continuous iteration.
You will also help shape how AI is used across the risk organization. LLM-assisted development, automated model workflows, AI-powered investigations, and intelligent review agents are part of the team’s daily work. We are looking for engineers who already use these tools effectively and can help establish safe, scalable, and production-ready AI practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for risk use cases such as payment fraud, account takeover, scam detection, deposit and withdrawal risk, promotional abuse, customer risk assessment, and transaction monitoring.
Own production ML systems end to end, including feature pipelines, training workflows, model serving, decision integrations, monitoring, alerting, drift detection, retraining, and incident response.
Partner with risk strategy and product teams to translate models into effective production controls, including approval, rejection, review, cooldown, limit adjustment, account restriction, and other risk mitigation actions.
Work closely with risk operations teams to understand investigation workflows, incorporate reviewer feedback, improve model explainability, and continuously refine labels and training data.
Apply AI-assisted development throughout the engineering workflow, using LLM coding tools to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, analysis, and documentation while maintaining appropriate security and review standards.
Develop AI-powered risk capabilities such as investigation agents, case summarization, evidence collection, review recommendations, alert triage, suspicious-entity mining, and automated decision support.
Take research-stage models into reliable production systems by validating feature logic, reviewing data quality, addressing latency and scalability constraints, and ensuring consistency between offline training and online inference.
Ensure models and decision systems are explainable, traceable, and well documented so that model outputs can be understood by risk operations, product stakeholders, internal governance teams, and regulators where applicable.
Design, build, and deploy LLM-based agents for risk operations and investigation workflows, including case triage, evidence retrieval, transaction analysis, alert summarization, review recommendations, and automated action orchestration.
Develop production-grade agent architectures using tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow orchestration, structured outputs, memory, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
Build evaluation frameworks for LLM agents, measuring factual accuracy, task completion, decision consistency, latency, cost, reviewer acceptance, and operational impact. Ensure LLM agents operate safely in a regulated risk environment by implementing permission controls, audit logs, data privacy protections, prompt and tool security, fallback mechanisms, and clear escalation paths.
What We Look For in You
Significant professional experience in machine learning engineering, applied data science, or a closely related field, with a strong record of taking models from prototype to production. Scope and level will be calibrated based on experience.
Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM, or scikit-learn.
Strong knowledge of applied machine learning fundamentals, including supervised learning, anomaly detection, representation learning, class-imbalanced modeling, model calibration, and evaluation under changing data distributions.
Demonstrable fluency with AI-assisted engineering. You regularly use LLM coding tools, have built AI-integrated workflows or applications, and understand both the productivity benefits and the security, reliability, and governance risks.
