Description Keeper Security is hiring a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join our Privileged Access Management team and help build secure endpoint privilege management capabilities for Linux environments. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA metro areas. Keeper’s cybersecurity software is trusted by millions of people and thousands of organizations globally. Keeper is published in 23 languages and sold in over 150 countries. Join one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies and help build low-level Linux security capabilities that enforce least privilege, secure process execution and privileged access across enterprise endpoints. About Keeper Keeper Security is one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity software companies that protects thousands of organizations and millions of people in over 150 countries. Keeper is a pioneer of zero-knowledge and zero-trust security built for any IT environment. Its core offering, KeeperPAM®, is an AI-enabled, cloud-native platform that protects all users, devices and infrastructure from cyber attacks. Recognized for its innovation in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management (PAM), Keeper secures passwords and passkeys, infrastructure secrets, remote connections and endpoints with role-based enforcement policies, least privilege and just-in-time access. Learn why Keeper is trusted by leading organizations to defend against modern adversaries at KeeperSecurity.com. About the Job As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer on Keeper’s PAM team, you will design and build security-sensitive components that control privileged execution and elevation on Linux endpoints. This is a systems engineering role focused on endpoint privilege management, process authorization, Linux security boundaries and long-running privileged services. You will work across a Rust-based Linux agent, native C PAM modules and .NET services running on Linux. The role requires strong knowledge of Linux internals and the ability to reason carefully about process identity, permissions, authentication, kernel-facing APIs and secure failure behavior. This is not a traditional application development role; the work operates close to the Linux operating system and directly influences how privileged processes are authorized and executed. Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain Linux endpoint privilege management capabilities across Rust, C and .NET components
Build and enhance kernel-facing agent functionality using Linux interfaces such as fanotify, the proc filesystem, namespaces, capabilities and process identity
Develop and maintain native PAM modules and Linux privilege-elevation workflows
Build long-running privileged Linux services using Rust, Tokio, MQTT, TLS and asynchronous programming patterns
Develop Linux-specific orchestration and session-management capabilities in .NET 8, including process authentication, access controls, ephemeral accounts and session monitoring
Diagnose complex Linux execution and security issues involving blocked processes, authentication races, permissions, SELinux, AppArmor and system service behavior
Design secure privilege-enforcement mechanisms based on least privilege, process trust and protection against time-of-check/time-of-use (TOCTOU) and authorization race conditions
Build and maintain systemd services, RPM and DEB packages, installation workflows, service hardening and operational diagnostics
Collaborate with PAM, endpoint, QA and platform engineers on architecture, testing, cross-platform functionality and production troubleshooting
Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to improve systems research, debugging, code development, testing and technical documentation
  Requirements
7+ years of professional software or systems engineering experience, with significant hands-on Linux systems programming experience
Deep understanding of Linux process and security concepts, including the proc filesystem, user and group IDs, Linux capabilities, namespaces and process execution
Strong C programming experience, including native Linux development, memory management, GCC and Make-based build workflows and defensive error handling
Experience developing or integrating with Linux PAM and PAM configuration
Strong Rust experience, including ownership, concurrency, asynchronous development and long-running service or daemon design
Experience with Tokio or similar asynchronous Rust frameworks
Working proficiency with C# and .NET in Linux environments
Experience developing security-sensitive software involving authentication, authorization, privilege elevation, process trust or least-privilege controls
Strong understanding of Linux service management and operations, including systemd, journalctl, SELinux and/or AppArmor, and RPM/DEB packaging

Proxybase | Backend Systems Engineer (Rust) | Remote (Global) | Full-Time | https://proxybase.xyz Hi HN, I’m the founder of Proxybase [0]. We’re building an agentic SOCKS5 proxy network designed to bring transparency and ethical sourcing to the residential proxy market. Quick note to anyone who applied last month: First off, thank you to everyone who reached out. We got hit with way more high-quality applications than expected, and between running day-to-day operations and working through the backlog, we took much longer to respond than we should have. If you applied last month and haven't heard back, we're genuinely sorry for the delay, we are actively reviewing those responses alongside this batch. Why Proxybase?
Historically, the residential proxy industry has been pretty shady, think hidden background scrapers bundled into TV firmware or mobile apps, combined with predatory payout systems that hold provider funds hostage for months. We’re taking a different approach: Fully Open-Source Clients: Our GUI [1] and CLI [2] are completely open-source so anyone can inspect and audit what we run.
Explicit Consent: Providers knowingly opt in. No stealth bundling.
Instant, Fair Payouts: $1 minimum payout threshold sent directly to provider wallets via US stablecoins—no holding funds to farm interest. What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Backend Systems Engineer (Rust) to help us build out our asynchronous SOCKS5 routing infrastructure, daemon node orchestration, and automated bandwidth allocation pipelines. Stack: Rust (Tokio / Axum), SOCKS5 protocol, Linux systemd daemons, SQLite
Location: Fully Remote (Async-friendly, flexible timezone)
Compensation: Competitive salary + equity (USD or stablecoin options available) If you're interested in building infrastructure for an industry that desperately needs better standards, send an email to jobs@proxybase.xyz with your GitHub/resume and a short note on what you’ve been working on lately. I’m also around in the comments if you have any questions or feedback on what we're building. Market analysis & customer insight Stay ahead of competitive and industry trends in platforms, data products, and developer ecosystems.Partner with Product and GTM teams to understand how Protect, Passport, Pulse and other product lines depend on the Pindrop Platform today and what they will need next. Manage organization goals, business metrics, and KPIs for the platform, including adoption, reliability, performance, and developer experience. Operate internal and external steering forums to align stakeholders on priorities and investments for the platform. Vision & roadmap for the Pindrop Platform Set the overall vision, strategy, and success measures for the Pindrop Platform as a product in its own right. Define how shared platform capabilities (data, AI/ML services, APIs, integrations, observability, security, entitlements, and configuration) evolve to support Protect, Passport, Pulse and future products. Own and maintain prioritized platform roadmaps, balancing foundational investments (scalability, reliability, security, cost efficiency) with new capabilities and externalized features like Pindrop Intelligence. Write clear user and system narratives that describe how internal product teams, external developers, and end customers will interact with Pindrop Platform capabilities. Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for platform initiatives and releases. Engage with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to obtain buy-in, make tradeoffs, and raise escalations when needed. Execution & delivery Drive end-to-end execution for platform initiatives, from discovery and design through delivery and launch. Work with engineering and engineering leadership to design and deliver high-quality, continuous releases of platform services, APIs, and data products. Manage platform capabilities across their lifecycle, from initial MVPs to scaled, hardened services adopted across multiple products. Integrate new technology from research and product teams into the platform in a way that is reusable, well-abstracted, and easy to adopt. You are entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win. You are resilient in the face of challenges, change, and ambiguity. You are optimistic and believe that you can make a problem into a solution. You are resourceful, excited to uncover innovative solutions and teach yourself something new when needed. You take accountability, do the things you say you’ll do, under-promise and over-deliver. You are nimble and adaptable when priorities change and continue to see the “forest through the trees”. Your skill-set 5–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or shared services (e.g., data platforms, API platforms, developer platforms, or similar). Experience working with cloud-native architectures and highly distributed systems; familiarity with how platform decisions impact reliability, performance, cost, and security. Proven experience defining and executing go-to-market strategy for platform or API / data products, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and launch planning. Experience creating and scaling internal platforms that serve multiple product teams or business units, OR externalized platforms / APIs used directly by customers and partners. Experience within a SaaS company required; experience in security, identity, fraud, or risk is a plus but not required. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig into details, understand edge cases, or help unblock teams. Strong leadership and communication skills — you can bring clarity to complex technical topics and drive alignment across engineering, product, GTM, and executive stakeholders. Headquarters: United Kingdom (Remote) Mechanical Orchard is reinventing how the world’s most critical software gets modernized. We’re an applied AI company focused on one of the hardest problems in enterprise technology: rewriting complex legacy systems in a way that is provably correct, low risk, and fast enough to matter. By focusing on system behavior rather than code alone, we turn modernization from a high-stakes, failure-prone effort into a repeatable, confidence-building process that unlocks ongoing innovation. Joining Mechanical Orchard means working on problems that truly matter—to our customers, their businesses, and the people who rely on these systems every day. We’re building technology and methodology that challenge long-standing industry assumptions, prioritizing proof over promises and progress over theatrics. If you care deeply about quality, rigor, and doing the right thing—even when it’s hard—you’ll find your people here. About the role We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead our Code Generation team — a critical pillar of our modernization platform. In this role, you will own the strategy and roadmap for how AI-powered code generation accelerates large-scale legacy modernization. You will work closely with forward-deployed engineering teams and customers to deeply understand real-world modernization challenges and translate them into product capabilities that deliver measurable impact. You’ll also stay at the forefront of foundation model advancements, evaluating new capabilities across model providers and the broader coding tools ecosystem to ensure our platform consistently delivers best-in-class developer experiences. This role sits at the intersection of AI model innovation, enterprise reliability, and developer productivity, and will play a key role in shaping how AI transforms legacy workloads into modern systems. Product Managers at Mechanical Orchard are dedicated to one team and work closely with a team of software engineers, as well as cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and our forward-deployed engineering teams. They are excited about using the latest AI tools to help us work faster and smarter, while constantly adapting to an evolving landscape of tools and best practices in the dev tools space. They balance long-term strategy with tactical delivery and apply modern product thinking to problems that have resisted innovation for decades. They identify and mitigate risk through effective stakeholder communication, cross-discipline collaboration, and by providing clarity and focus for teams. They apply an entrepreneurial and iterative mindset to the complex and highly technical problems of legacy software modernization. What you’ll do Own the vision and roadmap for AI-driven code generation, defining how our platform accelerates large-scale legacy modernization Collaborate closely with our forward-deployed engineering teams as well as technical partners to turn real-world modernization challenges into scalable product capabilities Translate rapidly evolving foundation model capabilities into reliable, enterprise-grade developer experiences Ensure cross-team alignment of roadmap and technical strategy within the product organization and across Mechanical Orchard Measure impact, track adoption, code quality, and modernization velocity to guide product decisions Define quality, reliability, and evaluation standards for AI-generated code Represent your product internally and externally with executive stakeholders, technical partners and customers Articulate customer value and benefits of your team’s offering and help position it within an evolving market landscape You’re a good fit if you have A Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Combined 5+ years in product management and engineering in a highly technical environment A deep technical background, ability to grasp technical concepts and establish credibility with engineers Track record of launching ambitious, highly technical products that have seen commercial success, preferably in dev tools Hands-on experience with latest AI coding tools, model capabilities, and industry trends Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and comfort with presenting to various audiences across seniority levels The ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality product experiences on tight timelines and in line with our business aspirations A bias for action - you’re not afraid to jump from writing a spec or story to talking to a customer or figuring out a new way to use AI tools to your advantage People in this role will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with frequent team-to-team communication and interaction with all levels of leadership. Mechanical Orchard is a remote-first company, with employees working across time zones and locations. This role does not have a requirement for in-office attendance, but is expected to work hours that maximize collaboration with their team (specifics can be discussed during the interview process). This is a senior role, but we focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $400,000 USD per year, which is location independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, and offer early exercise and a 10 year post-termination exercise window. About You You’ve been an early security hire at a SaaS company before and moved the needle on how they approach security. You can read application code, threat model a distributed system, and ship production fixes. You have significant distributed systems expertise so that you can understand and influence what is being built by the product teams and influence from a place of trust. Experience that's relevant: Being an early security hire (first 1-3) at a SaaS or data infrastructure company Securing multi-tenant platforms: tenant isolation, authorization models, etc Cloud security on systems that span more than one cloud and operate against customer-owned accounts Design and build of data infrastructure as an early engineer, not just a user. You helped secure it from early design or during major redesigns. You understand how it scales and how it’s secured Privacy-adjacent security (PII handling, data residency, GDPR/CCPA technical controls) We don't care about certifications. We care about what you've built. Interview Process Recruiter Screen [30m] - Introductory mutual fit assessment Security Architecture Interview [60m] - Threat model discussion of a real-ish system, followed by a systems design exercise Core interview [90m] - deep dive on distributed systems knowledge Hiring Manager Interview [60m] - What you've built in the past, how you work Security Program Interview [60m] with Head of Engineering — How you've run security programs in practice: bug bounty, pentest engagements, working with external researchers, and partnering across engineering to drive adoption. Headquarters: Remote • Canada, France, Spain, Germany, UK About Upsun (formerly Platform.sh) Upsun is the cloud application platform humans and robots love. It is built for today’s hybrid teams, where AI agents write and test code and humans focus on solving the problems that really matter. Developers, DevOps engineers, and platform teams use Upsun to build, ship, and scale confidently without wrestling with backend infrastructure. We give you your time back. You get: Predictable performance, even at scale Secure, compliant environments by default Real-time observability and profiling built in Cloning, configuration, and provisioning in seconds AI-ready features that plug directly into your stack The name says it all. "Up" means uptime, reliability, and acceleration. "Sun" reflects our follow-the-sun-support, a 24x7, globally distributed support team keeping the lights on while you rest. Our core belief is that software should power brighter solutions and greater innovation. Upsunners are a remote, global workforce, and we thrive in a multicultural team. We are committed to open source and an open, welcoming environment. Our team spans the globe and the experience spectrum. What's our commonality, our cultural fabric? A curious spirit and a thirst for knowledge; an eagerness for innovative ideas and cultures. We believe we can build anything together in an environment that frees you to do your best work. Our values: We make a positive impact. We aim for the stars. We care for each other. Impact of an IT Systems Engineer As an IT Systems Engineer you take the identity plane from working to well-run: automated, governed, and consistent, so access is correct by default, and our auditors find evidence rather than surprises. Reporting to the IT Director, you play a pivotal role in a growing internal IT department, driving the internal systems layer around identity—from our SaaS estate to Google Workspace. You are the person who makes identity quietly reliable: predictable, documented, and automated, while remaining flexible enough to support the wider IT function as our scaling remote organization evolves. What to expect Identity and access management: Own Okta as the backbone of how people get access, managing the app catalog (SSO integrations for new SaaS tools), policy management (MFA, device trust), and directory hygiene (Universal Directory, group management, breakglass access). Run identity day to day, refine our SSO and SCIM integrations, and keep joiner, mover, and leaver flows accurate from our HR system. Lifecycle and access automation: Automate provisioning and deprovisioning so access is granted and revoked automatically, not by hand. Build and maintain workflows with tools like Okta Workflows and n8n, manage access configuration as code, and keep SCIM provisioning in sync with our HR system. Process and governance: Structure and harmonize clear procedures around the identity plane, so access requests, approvals, and reviews follow one consistent, documented path instead of ad hoc steps. Internal IT systems and SaaS administration: Own our internal systems end to end. Integrate, secure, and validate our SaaS stack, administer Google Workspace as our core collaboration suite, connect our tools through Okta and our HR system, and own the application validation process. Compliance engineering: Implement and evidence access controls for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 with our Security team, ensuring access reviews and audit logs are a by-product of well-built systems, not a quarterly scramble. Endpoint and device management (shared): Partner on administrating Jumpcloud our MDM across macOS, Windows, and Linux, sharing endpoint and device management with our IT Operations and Endpoint Manager so coverage scales with the team. Where the team needs you: We are a small, growing IT team, so scope will flex over time. You are happy to pick up adjacent systems work and support across the wider IT function as our needs evolve. What you bring Identity expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Okta or a comparable identity provider, including SSO, SCIM, lifecycle automation, and API-driven provisioning IT Experience: Typically 5 or more years in IT systems, identity, or access engineering, including time in a developer-heavy or engineering-led environment. Automation skills: You build automation with tools like Okta Workflows, n8n, or similar, you are comfortable with APIs and webhooks, and you script in Python or a comparable language. Process optimization: You bring order to environments that grew quickly. You write clear procedures, standardize how things are done, and leave systems better documented than you found them. SaaS-first operations: You have run and integrated a SaaS-based environment, where identity and APIs matter more than racks and networks. Compliance fluency: You have worked inside ISO 27001 or SOC 2, ideally Type 2 where evidence is continuous, and you understand what auditors actually need. Remote collaboration: You work well without close supervision in a fully remote team, and you communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues alike Google Workspace administration: We are a Google shop, so hands-on Google Workspace administration is core to this role: users, groups, policies, and security settings. Working style: You are comfortable wearing several hats in a small IT team, picking up adjacent systems and endpoint work, and flexing as priorities shift. Bonus points Comfort managing configuration through Git-based workflows, or infrastructure as code with Terraform. Professional proficiency in French. <details><summary>英文原文</summary>

Posit PBC is looking for a hands-on, operationally-minded Sr Manager to lead and scale the core post-sales technical functions. As a key leader in the Solutions Engineering organization, you will sit at the intersection of customer onboarding, technical solutioning, and scoped delivery — turning complex customer challenges into repeatable, high-quality outcomes. This is not a passive management role. You are a builder who can develop your team, drive process consistency, and get into the details when it matters. You are also a systems thinker when it comes to technology — including AI tools — and how it can reduce manual effort, accelerate delivery, and help invent new ways to serve customers. You care about delivering measurable value to customers and have the technical credibility to earn the trust of both your team and the customers they serve. At Posit, we value authenticity and technical curiosity. We're looking for someone who has seen what "good" looks like in a Professional Services organization and is ready to build it here in a new way — with a team that genuinely cares about helping customers succeed with open-source data science tools. Key Responsibilities You will oversee the strategy, day-to-day execution, and performance of the following functions: Solutions Engineering: Lead a team of Solutions Engineers who serve as the technical bridge between Posit's product capabilities and customer outcomes. Your SEs will support complex deployments, guide customers through architecture decisions, and develop repeatable solution frameworks for common use cases — including AI-assisted workflows and LLM-powered analytics patterns where relevant. Delivery &amp; Technical Escalations: Manage a high-impact team focused on scoped engagements (SOWs), specific use-case deployments, and critical account-level technical escalations. Ensure delivery is profitable, scalable, and that escalation insights are fed back into the organization. You will also work collaboratively with CS leadership to evolve an effective customer experience through the evolution of team structures, workflows, and tools. What You'll Own Operational Excellence: Build and maintain playbooks, processes, and quality standards across the functions you lead while always considering the impact and intersection with the full customer journey. Convert ad-hoc "heroic" efforts into repeatable, measurable delivery. Team Performance: Hire, coach, and develop individual contributors and team leads. Build a culture of proactive customer partnership and continuous improvement. KPI Ownership: Define and track key metrics including Time-to-Value, CSAT, utilization, and project delivery quality. Use data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, TAM, and Product/Engineering teams to ensure seamless hand-offs, aligned customer journeys, and a strong feedback loop from the field to the product. Escalation Management: Serve as a senior point of escalation for delivery issues. Stabilize at-risk engagements and ensure lessons learned improve future delivery. AI &amp; Modern Tooling Adoption: Enable the use of AI tools and automation across your teams — from AI-assisted scoping and documentation to LLM-powered customer workflows. Identify where modern technology can eliminate repetitive work, shorten delivery cycles, and help customers unlock new use cases with Posit products. What You Bring: Experience: Extensive experience in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, or a related post-sales technical function, including demonstrated success managing teams in a B2B enterprise software environment. Technical Domain: Hands-on experience with complex on-premise or hybrid deployments. Familiarity with the analytics, reporting, or data science software landscape is a strong plus. Operational Mindset: Demonstrated ability to build processes, write playbooks, and scale delivery — not just manage individuals. Delivery Track Record: Experience scoping and delivering SOW-based engagements. Comfort with project economics, capacity planning, and managing to utilization targets. Solutions Orientation: Ability to connect customer problems to platform capabilities, and to develop frameworks that help SEs do the same at scale. AI &amp; Modern Technology Fluency: You actively use AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, LLM-powered workflows, automation) in your own work and understand where they create real leverage vs. hype. You can evaluate AI use cases critically, help your team adopt new tools confidently, and guide customers in applying AI to their analytics and data science workflows. You are a systems thinker, and strive to leverage technology not just to impact individual tasks, but how those tasks work in concert with how the business runs and results are achieved. Coaching &amp; Development: A manager who grows people, not just manages tasks. You invest in your team's career development and technical depth — including keeping them current on emerging tools and AI capabilities. Adaptability: You thrive in an ever-changing environment and can shape strategies and systems that keep pace with the growth of the business Growth Mindset : You are naturally curious and are willing to try new things in order to experience and learn Mission-Driven: Alignment with Posit's mission to support open-source software and the data science community. Impact Plan Within 30 Days: Discovery &amp; Listening
Get to know your team and understand their perspective and history of the organization.
Audit existing workflows across Onboarding, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery to identify bottlenecks and gaps.
Shadow team members in customer engagements to understand the current "technical journey" of a Posit customer.
Establish key relationships with Sales, Customer Success, TAM, and Product/Engineering leadership.
Review existing KPIs and the data inputs that support them.
Inventory current AI and automation tool usage (or absence) across the three teams.
  Within 60 Days: Strategic Assessment
Develop a baseline for "Time-to-Value" and "Project Duration" metrics across all onboarding segments.
Map the current Solutions Engineering engagement model — identify gaps in tooling, frameworks, and repeatability.
Audit the active Delivery pipeline: assess project health, scoping quality, and escalation patterns.
Identify the top three process improvements most likely to improve customer outcomes and team efficiency.
Surface two to three specific opportunities where AI or automation could meaningfully reduce manual effort or accelerate delivery.
Within 120 Days: Execution &amp; Optimization
Roll out an updated playbook that standardizes the first 90-day experience across customer segments.
Implement a Solutions Engineering framework: reusable architectures, demo assets, and qualification criteria for common use cases — including AI-assisted analytics patterns.
Optimize the Delivery scoping process to improve profitability and reduce delivery variance.
Establish a closed-loop escalation process that routes insights from technical escalations back to Product and Engineering.
Pilot at least one AI-assisted workflow within the team (e.g., automated documentation, AI-assisted scoping templates, LLM-powered customer diagnostics) and define a path to broader rollout.

Senior Partner Solutions Advisor Posit's mission is to create free and open-source software for data science, scientific research, and technical communication to enhance the production and consumption of knowledge by everyone, regardless of economic means. We are a different kind of software company, and we’re proud to build and sell products that help people understand and improve the world through data. Posit’s Solutions Engineering team aims to reduce the distance between our customers and partners and our Pro and Open Source offerings. We help our customers – especially their IT/SysAdmin teams – understand, evaluate, configure, and use our professional products. We also help our technology alliance partners understand and recommend Posit solutions to their customers. We aim to bring curiosity and empathy to every engagement, learning about the pain the customer experiences trying to get value from Open-Source Data Science. But that’s only half the job. As we learn about what customers and partners want, we use that knowledge to improve our products, documentation, and sales processes. As an SA, you’ll play an important role in empowering partners, accelerating customer evaluations, building our sales success, and making Posit and our products work better in the future. People who thrive in this role tend to:
Find joy in working directly with customers and prospects in sales cycles. This role is pre-sales focused and at least 50% customer- and partner-facing.
Understand the indirect sales process in enterprise software and enjoy evangelizing and enabling partner sales teams .
Be excited about a global territory.
Have some exposure to data science . Many people on the team are ex-data scientists, and you’ll spend a lot of time talking to customers about data science workflows and use cases. It’s worth noting that you won’t be doing data science or writing code daily.
Be interested in the server infrastructure and architecture that underlies enterprise data science. Most of our conversations with customers are with IT teams and System Administrators. Many SEs arrive at Posit with limited exposure to these things but have some demonstrated interest (for example, maybe you’ve run your own RStudio or Shiny server, become an accidental DBA, or become the go-to person for help with Docker containers).
Be familiar with Snowflake ’s data cloud and its Snowpark Container Services offering.
Be hungry and humble . Sol-Eng covers an impossibly broad technical scope. Great SAs quickly admit what they don’t know and constantly seek to learn more.
Find excitement in having many demands on your time, rather than overwhelm. The SA team has close relationships with almost every other team at Posit. There’s no limit to the different projects SAs could take on, being able to choose important things (with help and guidance from managers) and ignore distractions is a key skill for a Posit SA.
   What you’ll own own:

Maintaining relationships with and tools for partner technical sales teams - running enablement sessions, building demo assets, designing pricing calculators, and helping them understand when and why Posit’s tools can meet open source data science needs for their customers.
Subject matter expertise about Posit’s Snowflake integrations across connected app and native application

Responsibility for providing the voice of the customer to other teams at Posit, especially product management and product engineering.
A variety of projects that might include

creating and delivering public webinars, talks, and workshops.
writing and maintaining documentation, how-to articles, and demos of our products.
working on our internal data science infrastructure – picking up the newest in our Pro Products and preparing them to show to customers.
exploring enhancements and integrations for our Pro and Open Source products, and helping the product teams incorporate what you’ve learned.

   What you’ll help with:
Collaborating with Alliances leadership to develop our partner technical engagement strategy.
Improving our team’s processes so our workflows facilitate us doing great work, taking adequate focus time, and having time off to rest and recharge.
Setting the direction of our products by influencing the product management and engineering teams.
You will learn... So much. No one has ever (or ever will) start on Sol-Eng knowing everything we do. Strong candidates for this role generally have prior experience with approximately half of the things below.
How to navigate deeply technical partner calls . Even people with substantial customer experience find that Sol-Eng demands new depths of empathy, curiosity, and clarity of thinking and explanation.

How Posit’s Pro Products work . On customer and partner calls, you will be the expert on our Pro Products – explaining how to install and configure them, as well as how they help make life better for data scientists.
How to speak fluently about enterprise infrastructure . Solutions Engineers help our customers IT/Admins determine the best product architecture, which requires they speak knowledgeably about integrations to other data (science) tools and platforms, and how to get things done in Snowflake’s Snowpark Container Services including system administration, authentication, networking, and containerization.
What to expect: Within 1 month, you’ll…
Meet the rest of the Sol-Eng team and start meeting Alliances, Sales, Customer Success, and other nearby team members.
Configure Posit’s Pro Products for yourself to start learning the ins and outs.
Have joined dozens of demo calls with data scientists and IT architecture calls with IT/Admins of Posit’s Pro products.
   Within 3 months, you’ll...
Meet a large fraction of the company across Sol-Eng, Sales, CS, Support, Marketing, Engineering, and more.
Lead technical conversations with partner sales teams, presenting Posit’s messaging and demoing our products.
Create and improve partner sales assets.
   Within 12 months, you’ll…
Contribute to projects in roles of escalating size and scope.
Present to large audiences in person and virtually
Take on larger, more strategic, and higher-touch engagements with customers and partners.

Awear.ai We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing Save Apply Now AI ENGINEER — AGENTIC AI PLATFORM $120k – $200k | Remote ( Argentina +4 ) • San Francisco |4 years of exp |Full Time Posted: 3 months ago Job Location San Francisco Remote Work Policy Onsite or remote Hires remotely in Argentina - Brazil - Canada - Mexico - United States Visa Sponsorship Not Available Preferred Timezones Pacific Time, Mountain Time, Central Time, Eastern Time Collaboration Hours 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Pacific Time Relocation Allowed Skills Python API TensorFlow ML ONNX LLMs LangChain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) LLM Frameworks (Langchain, Claude, LLamaIndex) RAG Technologies Embedding Models Vect Model Context Protocol (MCP) Hiring contact Jennifer Van Beek Founder About the job We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing — one where AI agents replace apps and your technology finally works for you instead of the other way around. We're a stealth-mode startup with a world-class founding team with deep roots in consumer AI, extended reality, and wearable technology — including founders of some of the most recognizable hardware and software platforms of the last decade. We're backed by strategic partnerships with leading silicon and manufacturing companies, and we're hiring our first AI engineer to build the intelligence layer at the core of the platform. This is a rare opportunity to architect the agent infrastructure of a platform that doesn't exist yet — at the layer where always-on contextual AI meets a wearable form factor for the first time. Additional product details shared under NDA. THE ROLE The backend engineers build the infrastructure. The mobile engineers build the user facing surfaces. You build what runs between them — the agents themselves. As our first AI Engineer you will own the design and implementation of our agent layer — the pipelines, reasoning chains, memory retrieval systems, tool integrations, and orchestration logic that turn raw LLM capability into a platform that genuinely replaces the app paradigm. You will work directly with the CEO and across the full engineering team to make sure the agent experience is as technically rigorous as it is experientially compelling. This is a hands-on engineering role. You will write production code, own the agentic runtime architecture, and be directly accountable for the quality of every agent interaction on the platform. You will also be a key voice in decisions about which models to use, how to route between them, and how to structure the memory and context systems that make our platform smarter over time. We actively use AI development tools across our engineering team — Cursor, Claude, Copilot — and expect engineers who use them seriously as a core part of their workflow. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD The platform agent runtime — the core orchestration layer that manages agent sessions, chains reasoning steps, routes to tools, and executes actions on behalf of users Multi-provider LLM integration and routing — selecting and switching between regional and task-specific language models dynamically, with latency, cost, and capability all factored into routing decisions RAG architecture and memory retrieval — the systems that give agents access to the user's persistent, encrypted context layer and make responses smarter and more relevant over time Tool and skill integration pipelines — the infrastructure that connects agents to external APIs, device capabilities, and first-party platform features Agent evaluation and observability — the frameworks that measure agent quality, surface failures, and give the team visibility into how agents are actually performing in production On-device inference optimization — working with the mobile and firmware teams to identify which parts of the agent pipeline can run locally on device, reducing latency and cloud dependency as the platform evolves toward wearable hardware Prompt architecture and system design — the structured prompting frameworks, system instructions, and context management patterns that govern agent behavior consistently across the platform WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 4+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years working directly on LLM-based systems in production Deep hands-on experience with LLM integration — not just API calls but genuine understanding of how to build reliable, scalable, low-latency AI pipelines Strong experience with RAG architectures — vector databases, embedding pipelines, retrieval optimization, context window management Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration patterns — LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar, with a clear point of view on their strengths and limitations Solid Python engineering skills — you are writing production code, not research notebooks Experience evaluating LLM outputs at scale — building evals, measuring quality, detecting regressions Genuine understanding of the tradeoffs between different LLMs — capability, latency, cost, privacy implications — and experience making routing decisions in production systems Active user of AI-assisted development tools with a genuine point of view on how to use them well Strong written English and proven ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team Must be authorized to work in the US Strong plus: experience with on-device or edge inference — Core ML, ONNX, TensorFlow Lite, or similar; multi-agent system design; always-on or streaming inference architectures; privacy-preserving AI systems; wearable or mobile AI platform experience WHAT WE OFFER Salary: competitive depending on experience Meaningful early-stage equity Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Fully remote with occasional in-person time in Silicon Valley or Paris for key milestones Awear is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. River River is a new platform where you can chat, search, and shop, and get paid for all of it Save Apply Now Lead Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer – Knowledge Graph & Agentic AI $90k – $120k • 0.5% – 1.0% | Remote ( United States ) |5 years of exp |Full Time Posted: 2 months ago Hires remotely in United States Remote Work Policy Remote only Company Location Los Angeles Visa Sponsorship Not Available Preferred Timezones Pacific Time Relocation Not Allowed Skills Python Machine Learning Numpy/Scipy/Pandas/Scikit-learn NLP PyTorch Huggingface Vector Databases Agentic AI Hiring contact Ketan Buddhdev Employee About the job About River River is the human layer of the internet. The consent and ownership infrastructure that puts people back in the loop. Users see their data, control who accesses it, earn 70% of the value it creates, and get AI that finally serves them, not the platform. We are pre-revenue, raising a $3M seed at a $30M pre-money, and preparing for market launch. Our founding CEO brought MTV and NetJets to Europe and we are backed by technology luminaries from Google, Sun Microsystems, and beyond. We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to take full ownership of everything data science at River – from our personal data graph to our next-generation agentic AI systems. This is a foundational hire that will underpin our expanding team. You will be the person who defines how River understands, connects, and reasons over user data at scale, and who builds the data science function from the ground up. What We're Building River is three products, one platform: River Social – live and growing. A social platform where you own your data, control your identity, and get paid when it's used. 70% of value goes back to you. River Source – enterprise consent infrastructure. The bridge that gives AI platforms and brands access to high-fidelity, consented user data at scale. RiverAI – launching 2026. A desktop AI client built on your personal data graph, with real agentic capabilities that work for you, not just talk to you. RiverAI is powered by Rivera, River's AI engine, which is unique: It knows you. Rivera reasons over your personal data graph – your preferences, relationships, history, and context – to deliver intelligence that's genuinely yours. It's agentic. Rivera doesn't just answer questions – it takes action on your behalf, orchestrating multi-step workflows across your data and services with full transparency and user consent at every step. It's proactive and predictive. Rivera anticipates your needs and offers to help without you even asking. It's portable. Your data identity moves with you. Rivera works across River's platform and beyond, acting with your authority wherever AI meets the individual. What You'll Be Doing Designing and evolving River's personal data graph – defining entity schemas, relationship models, and enrichment pipelines that transform raw user data from diverse platforms into a rich, interconnected graph of individual intelligence. Building and maintaining data taxonomies – creating structured classification systems that organize the vast diversity of user data into coherent, queryable categories, enabling consistent data interpretation across River Social, River Source, and RiverAI. Cleaning, normalizing, and structuring noisy data – building robust pipelines that ingest messy, heterogeneous real-world data from multiple platforms and sources, resolving inconsistencies, deduplicating entities, and transforming it into high-fidelity graph-ready data at scale. Advancing natural language processing capabilities – developing NLP systems that extract meaning, intent, and relationships from unstructured text data, powering Rivera's understanding of user context and enabling semantic search across the personal data graph. Building agentic AI systems for RiverAI – architecting multi-agent frameworks where Rivera can reason over the personal data graph, plan multi-step actions, and execute autonomous workflows on behalf of users. Staying at the cutting edge of AI development – continuously evaluating and integrating emerging techniques in machine learning, graph ML, embedding models, and agentic architectures to ensure River's AI capabilities remain state-of-the-art. Developing AI-powered data ingestion for River Source – building intelligent pipelines that automatically analyze, classify, and enrich enterprise and user data as it enters the graph, powering River's consent infrastructure and maximizing network effects. Creating novel data valuation metrics – quantifying the value of user data contributions within the graph to power River Social's compensation model, where 70% of value flows back to users. Designing reinforcement learning systems for Rivera's personalized recommendation engine, leveraging graph structure to deliver context-aware, relationship-informed suggestions. Implementing hybrid search architectures (vector + graph traversal + traditional) with real-time trend analysis across the personal data graph. Building multi-agent preference aggregation models for group commerce features, enabling Rivera to reason over the preferences of multiple connected users simultaneously. Creating explainable AI components that reveal decision-making processes, ensuring users understand why Rivera takes actions and how their data informs recommendations. Defining and measuring success – establishing evaluation frameworks, A/B testing infrastructure, and metrics for graph quality, agent reliability, and user satisfaction at scale. What We're Looking For Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in applied data science or ML engineering, with demonstrated expertise in at least several of the following: Strong foundations in classical and modern machine learning – supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and optimization. Knowledge graph construction, entity resolution, and graph-based ML (e.g., GNNs, graph embeddings, link prediction). Data taxonomy design, ontology development, and large-scale data normalization across heterogeneous sources. Natural language processing (NLP) – text extraction, named entity recognition, semantic similarity, intent classification, and embedding generation. Agentic AI architectures, including multi-agent systems, tool use, planning, and autonomous workflow orchestration. Vector databases and semantic search (pgvector, Pinecone, or equivalent) for embedding storage and similarity retrieval at scale. Designing, deploying, and measuring end-to-end ML systems in production at scale (&gt;1M daily interactions). Real-time data pipelines (Apache Kafka, Spark, or equivalent). Graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or equivalent). Python and the modern ML stack (PyTorch, scikit-learn, HuggingFace, etc.). Balancing model performance with computational efficiency. Above all, you must have: A startup mentality – you thrive in fast-paced environments with ambiguous requirements, can context-switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and are energized (not daunted) by building something from scratch. Full ownership mindset – you will own everything data science at River. If it touches data, models, or intelligence, it's yours. You don't wait for specifications; you identify what needs to be done and drive it forward. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. A strong interest and awareness of the rapidly changing fields of agentic AI, knowledge graphs, and machine learning. A passion for ethical AI design and data sovereignty principles, sharing our vision that AI should empower users, not exploit them. Nice to have: LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Experience with collaborative filtering and recommendation systems. Familiarity with API integration patterns (REST/gRPC/GraphQL). Background in data marketplaces, data valuation, or privacy-preserving ML. Experience with AWS infrastructure (Neptune, SageMaker, ECS). Why You Should Join River Most engineering jobs are maintenance work on someone else's idea. This isn't that. The core technology is built, the patents filed, and the partnerships in place. The work ahead is the work that matters: taking what we've proven into the hands of real users, at scale, and building the company around it. You will ship things that millions of people will use. The team blends operator experience, engineering depth, and startup hustle. You get significant equity, real ownership of what you build, a direct line to the founders, and the rare chance to work on problems no one has solved yet. The market is ready. Join us. Awear.ai We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing Save Apply Now ANDROID SOFTWARE ENGINEER — AGENTIC AI PLATFORM $120k – $170k | Remote ( Argentina +4 ) • San Francisco |4 years of exp |Full Time Posted: 3 months ago Job Location San Francisco Remote Work Policy Onsite or remote Hires remotely in Argentina - Brazil - Canada - Mexico - United States Visa Sponsorship Not Available Preferred Timezones Pacific Time, Mountain Time, Central Time, Eastern Time Relocation Allowed Skills Android RTOS AOSP Kotlin About the job We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing — one where AI agents replace apps and your technology finally works for you instead of the other way around. We're a stealth-mode startup with a world-class founding team with deep roots in consumer AI, extended reality, and wearable technology — including founders of some of the most recognizable hardware and software platforms of the last decade. We're backed by strategic partnerships with leading silicon and manufacturing companies, and we're hiring our first mobile engineers to build the client experience from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build a genuinely novel Android experience — not a phone app, but a platform designed from the start to live on your face. Additional product details shared under NDA. THE ROLE This is not a standard Android engineering role. You will be working across two surfaces simultaneously — a standard Android mobile app that mirrors an iOS experience, and an AOSP-based custom Android build running on wearable hardware. You will be making foundational decisions about how an agentic AI platform feels and behaves in a wearable form factor — a problem that has no established conventions and very few reference points. You should also know that the wearable platform will expand from AOSP to RTOS asap. The right candidate for this role is excited by that transition rather than daunted by it — someone who thinks about platform architecture and is comfortable moving between layers of the stack as the hardware evolves. You will work directly with the CEO and a small, high-trust engineering team across Silicon Valley, Paris, including close collaboration with a China-based firmware team who own the hardware bring-up. We actively use AI development tools across our engineering team — Cursor, Claude, Copilot — and expect engineers who use them seriously as a core part of their workflow. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD A standard Android mobile app at feature parity with our existing iOS experience — bringing the Agentic OS to Android users with the same interaction quality and design integrity An AOSP-based client for wearable hardware — building the application layer on top of a custom Android stack running on a constrained wearable form factor The agent interaction surface for wearables — defining what it means to interact with an always-on AI when there is no touchscreen, no keyboard, and no conventional UI paradigm to fall back on A platform architecture that is designed to survive the transition from AOSP to RTOS — thinking ahead so that the work done today does not need to be discarded when the platform evolves Close integration with the firmware team — bridging the application layer and the hardware bring-up work happening in Shenzhen On-device processing integrations — working to minimize cloud dependency and maximize what runs locally on constrained hardware WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 4+ years of Android engineering experience with strong Kotlin skills Solid understanding of Android platform internals — not just application-layer Android but a genuine understanding of how the platform works beneath the surface AOSP experience — having worked with or built on top of the Android Open Source Project is a meaningful advantage for this role and the nature of the wearable work makes it highly desirable Experience with constrained or non-standard hardware environments — wearables, embedded Android, custom form factors, or similar Comfort working at the intersection of application software and hardware — you will be collaborating closely with firmware engineers and need to understand their world well enough to have productive conversations across the boundary Familiarity with RTOS concepts is a plus given the platform transition planned for later this year Active user of AI-assisted development tools with a genuine point of view on how to use them well Strong written English and proven ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team Must be authorized to work in the US Strong plus: experience with voice or audio-first interfaces, always-on background processing, custom input methods or non-touch interaction paradigms, wearable or AR platform development WHAT WE OFFER Salary: $140,000–$170,000 depending on experience Meaningful early-stage equity Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Fully remote with occasional in-person time in Silicon Valley or Paris for key milestones Awear is an equal opportunity employer. Awear.ai We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing Save Apply Now iOS SOFTWARE ENGINEER — AGENTIC AI PLATFORM $120k – $200k • 0.25% – 0.75% | Remote ( Argentina +4 ) • San Francisco |4 years of exp |Full Time Posted: 3 months ago Job Location San Francisco Remote Work Policy Onsite or remote Hires remotely in Argentina - Brazil - Canada - Mexico - United States Visa Sponsorship Not Available Preferred Timezones Pacific Time, Mountain Time, Central Time, Eastern Time Relocation Allowed Skills Swift CoreML SwiftUI About the job We're building the operating system for the next generation of computing — one where AI agents replace apps and your technology finally works for you instead of the other way around. This is a rare opportunity to shape the interaction model of a platform that doesn't exist yet. Additional product details shared under NDA. THE ROLE You will own our iOS and MacOS applications, and be responsible for iterating rapidly based on early user feedback, and expand it into the full MVP experience — building the client layer that makes our Agentic OS feel genuinely different from anything users have experienced before. You will work directly with the CEO and a small, high-trust engineering team across Silicon Valley, Paris. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant influence over how the platform feels to use — not just how it works. We actively use AI development tools across our engineering team — Cursor, Claude, Copilot — and expect engineers who use them seriously as a core part of their workflow. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD The core iOS client for our Agentic OS — iterating on an existing Swift/SwiftUI codebase and expanding its capabilities toward full MVP release The agent interaction layer — the surface through which users experience always-on contextual AI for the first time, with no app icons, no menus, and no friction The memory and context UI — making the platform's persistent, encrypted memory layer feel intuitive and trustworthy to users A companion mode that previews the wearable device experience — giving early users a window into what platform will feel like as a wearable before the hardware ships On-device processing integrations — working closely with the backend team to minimize cloud dependency and maximize what runs locally on device A feedback and iteration loop with closed beta users — this is a friends and family release and you will have direct access to real user reactions WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 4+ years of iOS engineering experience with strong Swift and SwiftUI skills Deep understanding of iOS platform patterns — lifecycle, state management, background processing, permissions, notifications Experience building consumer-facing products where UX quality and interaction polish matter as much as technical correctness Comfort inheriting and improving an existing codebase rather than building exclusively greenfield Familiarity with on-device ML frameworks — Core ML, Create ML, or similar — is a strong plus given our emphasis on local processing Active user of AI-assisted development tools with a genuine point of view on how to use them well Strong written English and proven ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team Must be authorized to work in the US Strong plus: experience with always-on or background audio processing, privacy-preserving on-device data architectures, wearable or AR companion app experience WHAT WE OFFER Salary: competitive depending on experience Meaningful early-stage equity Full medical, dental, and vision coverage Fully remote with occasional in-person time in Silicon Valley or Paris for key milestones Awear is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
